The only drawback to this option is that you are not are not guaranteed a good service level unfortunately. It will depend on which embassy you visit.
2.Chamber of commerce are a great way to start networking. They always organize events so you can meet potential clients or people that can help you. Sometimes, the membership fees can be quite high therefore it will be harder for smaller companies to join.
3. One of my favorite ways to look for business opportunities is to join B2B trade portals. These site are extremely flexible as they are available 24 hours a day so I can basically research for potential clients at my convenience. The great thing is that you have basic features for free and upgrade whenever you are ready. The premium memberships are generally well priced and affordable.
As you can see, doing business in Latin America can be extremely beneficial in the long term even though it will require some initial time investment in the beginning.
